Krishnapuram Palace was built in 18th century by Marthanda Varma. This palace is situated Kayamkulam 47 Km away from Allepey (Alappuzha). This was built during the reign of the Tranvancore Monarch. A double storied structure which displays typical characteristics of Kerala's architecture roofs, dormer.
A museum with atique sculptures, paintings and bronzes is housed inside the building. The 'Ganjendra Moksham' mural, on of the largest mural paintingin Kerala is a major attraction in the Palace.
