The Trivandrum Passport Office, started full-fledged office in January 1992. The office is working in a rented 5 storied building. The present jurisdiction of the Trivandrum Passport Office, Thiruvananthapuram covers the districts of Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), Kollam and Pathanamthitta.

Passport Office is open from Monday to Friday, except on holidays
Applications can be submitted across the counter from 9.30 A.M to 1 P.M. at counters No. 3 to 7
There are separate counter for senior citizens & physically handicapped persons (counter No. 7)
Delivery of Passports in case of Promised Cases will be from 4 P.M. to 5.30 P.M. at counter No. 2.
Meeting timings with the concerned officers is from 10 A.M to 12.30 P.M.
District Passport Cells are functioning at the office of the Superintendents of Police, Trivandrum rural, Kollam and Pathanamthitta. Applicants can submit their passport application at the respective centres too.
Speed post centres at Trivandrum, Kollam and Thiruvalla (Pathanamthittal) are accepting passport application of the respective districts
